Society for Neurobiology of Language conference

In November 2013, I attended two international neuroscience conferences in San Diego, US. At the Society for Neurobiology of Language conference I presented a poster about the first two projects of my PhD titled ‘The behavioral and neural effects of language on motion perception’.

The conference was very inspiring. I met many interesting researchers working on related topics and some of the talks were really great. I particularly liked Robert Knight’s talk on ‘Language viewed from direct cortical recordings’, Liuba Papeo on ‘The origin of word-related motor activity’ and Alona Fyshe on ‘Semantic Representations from a Joint Model of Brain and Text Based Meaning’.
