Free will & neuroscience debate

In December 2011 I was invited to join a debate at the annually symposium of the students union of the Open Universiteit’s Culture Science studies. The theme of the debate was ‘free will’ and more specific the role of neuroscience in the philosophical problem of free will.

In the panel were Marc Slors, professor of philosophy of mind, Cees Leijenhorst, associate professor of history of modern philosophy, Roel Willems, senior researcher at the Donders Institute, and me.

It was a nice and lively debate and I really enjoyed discussing one of my favorite issues with these experts. More information on the symposium can be found here.
